Multi-Housing Crime Prevention Training

Service Description

8 Hour, 1 day in person course. Multi-Housing Crime Prevention is a comprehensive training designed to equip property managers, staff, and stakeholders with the tools to create safer, more resilient communities. Rooted in the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), this program integrates proven strategies to reduce criminal activity, enhance resident engagement, and protect property reputation. Participants will gain practical skills in: CPTED Implementation: Designing spaces that naturally deter crime and promote safety. De-escalation Techniques: Managing conflict and responding to high-risk situations with confidence and professionalism. Lease Addendums: Strengthening lease language to support safety and accountability. Community Engagement: Building trust and collaboration between residents, staff, and local partners. This training not only focuses on improving quality of life for residents—it also helps participants understand ways to reduce liability exposure, enhance property reputation, and foster a culture of proactive safety. Ideal for multi-family housing teams, student housing, and mixed-use communities committed to creating safer environments through intentional design and policy.
